For our up coming science unit (Building with a Variety of Materials) we are going to be building many different things.  I need help from home to gather materials for the kids to use to construct these various building projects.  Any materials that you have at home would be greatly appreciated. 

Please send the following materials in if you have any at home. ·  toilet paper rolls paper towel rolls or wrapping paper rolls ·  cereal boxes / granola bar boxes ·  cracker boxes ·  shoe boxes ·  styrofoam meat trays / aluminum trays ·  egg cartons

Can I just say how proud I am of the students in my class!  I am seeing them show so much determination and perseverance on learning tasks that are really challenging them.  They are working really hard to grow as critical thinkers.  They are not afraid to step outside the box and take on new learning tasks.

These kids show kindness, determination, drive, respect and cooperation on a daily basis!

They make me smile, they make me laugh and most of all they make me truly believe in the power that comes with TRULY BELIEVING THAT YOU CAN DO ANYTHING YOU SET YOUR MIND TO!

IGLOO BUILDING PROJECT

Our grade three class is taking on another project with the preschool class.

We will be building igloos on Jan 24 and Jan 26.

Kids from our class need to bring:

* Ziploc bag of marshmallows (any size)

*Ziploc bag of cotton balls (any size)

WE ARE STARTING SNOWSHOEING IN GYM CLASS TOMORROW.
