UPDATES FOR THIS WEEK.....
1) Social mapping test will be taking place tomorrow due to the photocopier not working last week when we wanted to do it!!

2) WE ARE SWIMMING ON FRIDAY FROM 10 TO 11. We will be leaving the school at 9:30 am. Thank you to my parent drivers for making this possible!!!

3) Mrs. Barker is away on Wednesday afternoon for a learning session. Mrs. Speelman will be in! :)

Happy Halloween!!


The Hallween parade and party are happening on MONDAY AFTERNOON. Your child will need to put on their Halloween costume at LUNCH TIME!!


This means that costumes need to be simple and easy to get on. Please don't send lots of makeup with your child to put on because there is only 20 minutes to get ready and there will be lots of kids in the bathroom getting dressed.


COSTUMES NEED TO BE SIMPLE AND NO PRETEND WEAPONS MAY COME TO SCHOOL!


THE PARADE IS STARTING RIGHT AFTER LUNCH. WE WILL BE HAVING THE GRADE THREE PARTY FOLLOWING THE PARADE.

Mapping Unit Test THURSDAY



On Thursday, Oct 27th your child will be doing their mapping unit test for social.


THEY ARE BRINGING A MAPPING REVIEW SHEET HOME TODAY TO PRACTICE AT HOME TO MAKE SURE THEY KNOW THINGS WELL.

Musical Instrument Science Project



On Thursday this week, your child will be building a muscial instrument in science class. They need to bring the materials from home to construct their instrument.


ALL THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE INSTRUMENT IS TO BE DONE AT SCHOOL. PLEASE DO NOT ALLOW YOUR CHILD TO BUILD THEIR INSTRUMENT AT HOME. THEY MAY COME UP WITH THEIR PLAN AT HOME BUT ALL THE BUILDING IS TO BE DONE AT SCHOOL.


MATERIALS FOR MUSCIAL INSTRUMENT NEED TO COME TO SCHOOL ON THURSDAY, OCTOBER 27.

Parent Drivers Needed

We are headed swimming on FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 4th from 10:00 am t0 11:00 am.


I will need parent drivers to help transport the kids to Nicholas Sheran pool.


There is a note coming home with your child. Please return the slip at the bottom if you are able to drive for swimming.

IF YOU ARE SENDING MONEY WITH YOUR CHILD IT NEEDS TO BE IN A BAG WITH THEIR NAME ON IT OR A SECURE WALLET SO IT DOES NOT GET LOST.






FRIDAY WE WILL BE HEADING BACK TO THE BOOK FAIR TO MAKE ANY FINAL PURCHASES.

Miss. Pickett Away Thursday and Friday...

Miss. Pickett (soon to be Barker) will be away on Thursday and Friday this week due to her wedding weekend.






Mrs. Speelman will be in for me and she is absolutely amazing.

LEARNING ABOUT EAR DAMAGE....

THIS WAS MY LOVELY ASSISTANT FOR LEARNING ABOUT HOW DAMAGE TO THE EARS FROM LOUD SOUNDS AND NOT TAKING GOOD CARE OF THEM ACCUMULATES OVER TIME!!


SHE DID A LOT OF DAMAGE TO HER EARS SO SHE HAD A LOT OF BACKPACKS TO CARRY AROUND...AND SHE COULD NOT SET THEM DOWN BECAUSE WHEN YOU DAMAGE YOUR EARS IT DOES NOT GO AWAY!



A special surprise....

THIS WAS A GREAT SURPRISE TO COME IN TO SEE AFTER INDOOR RECESS TODAY!!! THE KIDS WANTED ME TO TAKE A PICTURE OF IT FOR ALL OF YOU TO SEE.


I AM SO THANKFUL FOR KIDS WHO THINK ABOUT MAKING OTHERS SMILE!!


I AM VERY LUCKY TO HAVE SUCH A GREAT GROUP OF KIDDOS...EACH ONE IS VERY SPECIAL!
